TESA-TESE-MESA

TESA-TESE-MESA is the surgical method through which sperm is retrieved directly from the testicles which can later be utilized to treat infertility issues.

TESA:

This method is performed by the insertion of needles in the testes to draw fluid and tissues by the vacuum. The extracted tissue is then processed and the sperm frozen for future use in ICSI and IVF.

TESE:

Testicular Sperm Extraction is a method where sperm is retrieved through biopsy. This method is used in men who suffer from Non-obstructive Azoospermia or Obstructive Azoospermia. The retrieved sperm is then frozen and preserved for later use.

MESA:

This method is used to treat conditions such as obstructive azoospermia. The process involves the incision of a single tubule by dissecting the epididymis. The fluid is then drawn out from the tubule for Assisted Reproductive Technologies ((ART) like IVF.
